DSE music regular and intensive course

Requirement:

1. Entrance test needed
2. Basic theory knowledge (ABRSM Grade 5 theory or above)
3. Basic performance requirement
- Western instruments: ABRSM Grade 5 (or relevant) or above

- Chinese instruments: Assessment needed

Curriculum of paper 1:

This course will be divided into 4 main chapters, which are

1. Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music ( - 1750);
2. Classical and Romantic music (1750-1900);

3. Twentieth century and popular music (1900 - );
4. Chinese instrumental music and Cantonese opera.

For regular course:

Section A (paper 1) + Section B (paper 3) + Section C (past-paper training)

- Both Chinese and English applicants are welcomed - Entrance test is needed
- All the notes, past papers and listening materials will be provided
- Online or live lessons are available
- Discount will be offered for two or more students
- Bridging course (optional) can be provided for those who want to prepare for DSE music

For intensive course:

Paper 1 + Past-paper training

- 30 lessons
- 2 - 3 hours per lesson
- All lesson materials will be provided
- Online or live lessons are available
- Chinese or English applicants are welcomed
