Matthew Ng (Violin & Viola)

• Violin - Former full-time Violinist of Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra (Japan) 

• Violin - Bachelor Degree (Honor) of Music (HKAPA)

Ng was a former violinist of Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra for 4 years, with 1 year act as principal violinist. He was also a freelance violinist in City Chamber Orchestra Hong Kong. While he was studying my Bachelor degree of music, he was a Principal 2nd Violin in Asian Youth Orchestra in 2014 Tour. He got 10+ years' experience on teaching all levels of students, from 3 to 30 years old. After all those years of performing and teaching, he realizes not many students or even tutors know the right way to practice violin. It is his goal to influence his student by showing them "shortcut" of practicing. Practice is not just about repetitive work. If you know how to practice, it can be much easier and faster to get to the level you always desire.

• Violinist - Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra (2017-2021), Principal Violinist in the same orchestra (2020-2021)

• Freelance violinist - City Chamber Orchestra Hong Kong (2016-2017)

• Principal 2nd violin - Asian Youth Orchestra 2014 Tour (2014)

• Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Compétition, 2nd Prize 2016
