Kelvin's journey in the music industry is a testament to his versatility and responsiveness across various musical disciplines. Starting his musical education at the age of 5 with the violin, he later transitioned to the viola, demonstrating a deep commitment to his craft. Throughout his career, Kelvin has engaged in a wide range of activities within the music world, from professional orchestral performances to solo and chamber music teaching. His experiences reflect a profound dedication to both performing and educating, making him a well-rounded and accomplished musician.
Since his recent graduation from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where Kelvin developed a strong foundation in both performance and pedagogy. His experience includes working with the ABRSM and Trinity assessment curricula, teaching a diverse range of students from beginners to mature learners. Additionally, Kelvin successfully assisted a conservatoire-level student with their second-study (classical viola) elective audition, complementing their major in classical violin.
Kelvin has previously performed in prestigious venues, including Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican Centre, Cadogan Hall and St John's Smith Square, and had played alongside with the London Symphony Orchestra in the annual BMW Trafalgar Square concert.
