Teaching Diary - Legato

Many students struggle with legato when they play the lyrical pieces. They do not understand the tension of the fingers and how to make a long and smooth line. 

One day, I found a slime at student’s home and asked the student to play on it in order to feel the stickiness and tension of each finger. It works!
