Teaching Diary - Independence of fingers

This is an advanced version of previous exercise. In the previous chapter, we talked about how to train our hand shape by using erasers. In this exercise, we have to play the certain pairs of finger together with erasers. As you can see in the video, the girl holds three fingers whilst two fingers have to play separately and clearly. It is not only about the balance of hands, but also about joint mobility.

Bear in mind, take a rest if you feel tired. Please do not "over-practice". Also, you can do it on table, not just piano. Try it out!

(This exercise is also applicable to string students)
